Manila Zoo: Filipino Heritage Festival 2023
Join Salamat Cookies as they host the Manila Zoo Filipino Heritage Festival at our building for the second year in a row! Don’t miss a wide array of Filipino food, vendors, and music at this cultural festival. The events runs Saturday 9/23 and Sunday 9/24, from 11a-5p each day.
Puerto Rican Police Association Summer Jam
Join the Puerto Rican Police Association for their Summer Jam Fundraiser event in out parking lot! Food, drinks, music and more await! $35 entrance fee at the gate, $25 for PRPA members. Event runs from 2-10pm.
Dudefest: A Fundraiser for Misericordia
Every year, the O'Connor Creevy Family hosts Dudefest, a benefit for Misericordia. Dudefest's primary goal is to support the place that enriches the lives of more than 600 children and adults who call Misericordia home. All proceeds from the event go directly to Misericordia.
Misericordia provides housing; meaningful jobs; physical and occupational therapy; and a genuine social life for people with mild to profound developmental disabilities from all racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
Open House & Art Show
Join us Friday June 30th from 5-9pm for an open house at Chicago's CREATORSPACE featuring many creators and small businesses opening their doors to the public. There will also be an art show in our gallery by local artist Cam Collins. Stay tuned for a full list of participants. RSVP HERE FOR FREE!

Interior Design Trade Show
Want to see what’s new in interior design? Join the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers for a trade show at our building. Booths will be set up in our gallery by ASID industry partners. Designers attend from 3:30-6:00PM. Food trucks will be parked on Diversey from 6:00-8:00pm. There will be a cocktail hour from 6:00-7:30PM.
Familiarity in the Unknown Art Show
“Familiarity in the Unknown” is a group art show hosted and curated by Downtown 500. The show features 10 emerging artists from the Chicago area and is on view in our gallery through Friday April 14th.

Gummies Gallery is partnering with Workshop 4200 to present ‘Train to my Dream’ opening virtually on February 12, 2021. This group art exhibition will showcase over 16 artists as each artist represent their train of dreams.
SIGNS OF LIFE: An Augmented Reality Art Exhibition - Day 2
Downtown 500, QZ Gallery, and Workshop 4200 Present “SIGNS OF LIFE,” an art exhibition that utilizes augmented reality technology to bring certain artworks to life. This exhibition includes physical work by more than 10 local artists, as well as certain prints and codes that will come to life with the use of AR through the QZ Gallery mobile app. Guests are encouraged to download the QZ Gallery app prior to their arrival in order to view the AR artwork.
Guests will be able to reserve a 30-minute time slot that will be limited to 10 people in order to properly manage social distancing. Face masks are REQUIRED to be worn properly AT ALL TIMES during the event.
